Recognizing and Supporting Neurodiversity in Students with Autism
Live online course back by popular demand! This is a three hours webinar spread out over two sessions. What are the aims of the course? The aim of the course is to • Understand how ASD may present in primary school students • Become equipped to navigate difficult conversations with families surrounding topics related to ASD • Learn about neurodiversity and executive functioning in individuals with ASD and how to support diverse learning needs What are the intended outcomes of the course? Griffiths III NEW USER Training Course – Part II
Having completed an e-learning module online with Association for Research in Infant and Child Development, psychologists and pediatricians can complete this three day practical course in Dubai to become a full fledged Griffiths User. Attendees must complete the Part 1 e-learning module covering general theory and concepts of child development and its assessment, interpretation and report writing before engaging in this (Part 2) of the course. Psychologists; Pediatricians Allied Health Professionals (e.g. Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Specialist Health Visitor) may also apply if they are – 1) Part of a Child Development Team, or 2) Actively involved in research or monitoring, and 3) Can be supervised by an experience Griffiths User.
