DIAGNOSTIC AND PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENTS
The purpose of a psycho-educational assessment is to ascertain a person's strengths and weaknesses, and to identify whether they meet criteria for a particular diagnostic need. This allows us to understand the person better and to be able to match evidence-based interventions for their identified needs. Assessments are conducted via clinical interview, up-to-date standardised assessments, and dynamic assessments. All assessments are documented in a report and communicated in a feedback meeting. For more information on particular types of assessments and for a particular age group, please contact reception for the relevant brochure.
