Recognizing and Supporting Neurodiversity in Students with Autism This is a three hours webinar spread out over two sessions. What are the aims of the course? The aim of the course is to • Understand how ASD may present in primary school students • Become equipped to navigate difficult conversations with families surrounding topics related to ASD • Learn about neurodiversity and executive functioning in individuals with ASD and how to support diverse learning needs • What are the intended outcomes of the course? Once the course is complete, attendees will be able to • Better identify students at risk for ASD • Manage difficult conversations with parents • Identify neurodiverse traits and executive functioning needs in their students, and support new ways of learning
